What to do when your Capricorn child shuts down

I’ve got a new video in my series on Capricorn children! Click the image below for the video.

The Problem

If you have a Capricorn sun or moon child, or a Capricorn adult, in your life, you have likely experienced this dynamic. You want to communicate something that’s important to you to the Capricorn person. Things may be a little heated and you may start to emotionally overreact. Your Capricorn person, instead of meeting you emotionally and responding, shuts down. They clam up, get silent, maybe purse their lips, and silently seethe. Then they walk away. They don’t say anything.

How Most Parents React

Most parents hate this. And most parents respond by saying, “I’m not done talking to you!” or “Don’t walk away, I’m still talking to you!” But all that does is disconnect you from your Capricorn child. So what should parents do to maintain the attachment and connection to Capricorn children even during tense situations? Well, I’m here to help.

The Solution

The answer to dealing with this dynamic is easier than what parents may think. It’s also not an overnight hack, but a carefully cultivated relationship that takes time. If you implement what I talk about in this video on a consistent basis, you will see positive changes in your relationship with your Capricorn child.
